Traits

Cheek Nubs - Common (Common)

Category: Cheek Nubs

(Outdated description)

Short nubs that are half the length of the paca or snekket's head excluding feelers (or shorter!). These are simple shapes, including but not limited to; teardrops, cones, ovals, leaf. Not included; animal ears, wings, objects. These do not have layers or holes. A common paca can have up to two sets of cheek nubs (4 nubs). Having no cheek nubs is also common. Nubs that are aligned with the mouth or lower are common.

Single/ Ultra Tails (Nat. Sub.) (Natural Subspecies)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

The pacapillar has a single tail feeler, or one that is longer and more elaborate than it's other tail feelers. The tail feeler is not limited to SR length, and is common across all subspecies. Poison pacapillars can have stingers on their tails. Gilled pacas can have tail fins. Subspecies can also have multiple ultra tails. Shelled pacas cannot have tails at all

Tail Feelers - Common (Common)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

Feelers that would reach half the height of the pacapillar's body or less(not including the head). There are no limits on shape for tail feelers. The texture must be the same as the rest of the pacapillar unless a Multi-Texture mutation is applied. A common pacapillar can have 2-4 tail feelers arranged in any way as long as they are within the tail area.

Tail Feelers - Rare (Rare)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

Feelers that are the height of the pacapillar including it's head but excluding it's feelers (or shorter). There are no limits on shape for tail feelers. The texture must be the same as the rest of the pacapillar unless a Multi-Texture mutation is applied. A Rare pacapillar can have 5-8, or zero tail feelers. The feelers can be arranged any way as long as they are within the tail area.

Tail Feelers - S. Rare (Super Rare)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

Feelers that are 1.5 times the length of the pacapillar or shorter. There are no shape restrictions on Super Rare tail feelers. Super Rare Pacapillars can have more than 8 tail feelers, arranged in any way as long as they are within the tail area. The tails should be the same texture as the rest of the pacapillar unless a Multi-Texture Mutation is applied.

Single Tail (Standard) (Mutation)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

The pacapillar has a single tail feeler, or a tail feeler that is much longer or more elaborate than the others the pacapillar has. The single tail will still have to follow the rarity of the paca, as well as not be longer than the size for a Super Rare tail feeler.

Ultra Tail (Mutation+)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar
(Outdated description)

The pacapillar has one or more tails longer than the maximum Super Rare length. There is no upper limit for how long the tail can be.

Single/Ultra Tails (Unnat. Sub.) (Unnatural Subspecies)

Category: Tail Feelers
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

The pacapillar has a single tail feeler, or one that is longer and more elaborate than it's other tail feelers. The tail feeler is not limited to SR length, and is common across all subspecies. Winged pacapillars most commonly have long tails. Subspecies can also have multiple ultra length tails

Fangs (Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has one or more additional fangs. Every Pacapillar automatically has two small fangs on their upper jaw. These can vary in shape and size, such as adding a single tooth or a full top and bottom set of canine teeth.

Notes:
- Fangs may be styled like tusks, but cannot exceed ⅓ of the head’s size without the use of the Object Head mutation.
- Replacing the entire mouth with a full set of teeth also requires the Object Head mutation.
- Adding a single tooth will not require the Mismatching trait, only if the Fangs have different shapes or sizes.

Pincers (Nat. Sub.) (Natural Subspecies)

Category: Extra Traits
Species: Pacapillar

(Outdated description)

Some or all of the Pacapillar's limbs are replaced with pincers. Pincers are a common trait for Poison and Hard Shelled Pacas, and illegal for Soft Shelled Pacas. Only a Poison Pacapillar's pincers can be given a poison Sac. The pincers for a Hard Shelled Paca are more similar to crab claws, allowing them to grab things.

Ribbons (Super Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has long, flowy, ribbon-like extrusions coming off the head or body. These ribbons are usually only attached in one or two places. There are no limits on style, size or shape as long as one end flows freely.

Notes:
- Ribbons placed on the feelers (Head Feelers, Cheek Nubs, Tail Feelers) will not be classified as Ribbons but as part of the particular feeler.

- If both ends of the Ribbon are attached, the regular Extrusions trait is needed instead.

Transparency (Super Rare)

Category: Extra Traits

Transparency can be applied to any part of the Pacapillar/Snekket without restriction. This can range from being partially transparent to fully see-through.
A transparent Pacapillar/Snekket can have an empty body or have something visible inside, with no limits on what is placed inside. Objects include but are not limited to liquids, plants or food. These items will not require Multi-Texture regardless of their texture.

Notes:
- Objects inside of the body are restricted to natural movement. Any unnatural movement will require Animation. Animals inside of the body will also require Animation.

Horns (Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has one or more horns placed on the head. These horns can be any shape or size, with no limit to the number of horns being present.

Notes:
- Horns cannot replace the Head Feelers. However, Head Feelers can be designed to look like horns, but will not be made of keratin or classified as Horns.

- Differently shaped Horns will require the Mismatching trait.

Wing Shades (Super Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has at least one or all of its eyes covered in a lens-like protective layer. Wing Shades have no limit in their style or appearance. They can range from being separate pieces on each eye to connecting together and making a visor-style shape. They cannot be removed and are permanently attached to the eyes.
Notes:
- Wing Shades can sit on the corner of the eye(s) but must connect to at least 80% of the eye (to avoid looking like eyelashes instead).
- The Transparency trait is not needed for semi-transparent Wing Shades.
- Differently shaped Wing Shades will require the Mismatching trait.

Aura/Halo (Super Rare)

Category: Extra Traits

The Pacapillar/Snekket has a halo or items of any shape floating around their body. These can come in various forms and may include but are not limited to stars, sparkles, clouds, hearts or other floating objects.
Aura/Halo is always present and cannot be removed. They can be translucent and elaborately decorated, with no limits on details.

Notes:
- Aura/Halo is always static and cannot move without Animation. Elemental Auras (e.g. fire, smoke, clouds) are restricted to minimal movement. Any unnatural movement will require Animation.
- There is no exact limit on the number of Aura/Halos allowed, but if too many are present in the design Shedding will be required.
- Eyes floating or appearing within Auras or on Halos will always require Body Eyes.
- Animal shaped Auras will always require Animation.

Collar/Mane/Hood (Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has a permanently attached collar, mane, and/or hood connected to the neck or chest area. Manes can start on the back of the head and transition into a full mane around the neck, while hoods can be freely pulled up or down. Collar/Mane/Hood can be styled in any way and have no size limit, as long as they do not completely cover the head or body.

Notes:
- If the C/M/H covers the Head Feelers or Cheek Nubs, an additional reference showing them is required.

- Collars will not require this trait if they are clearly shown or labeled as removable accessories.

Pawpads (Common)

Category: Extra Traits

The Pacapillar/Snekket has pads or markings under their nubs. These can resemble animal paw pads or have random shapes for example stars, circles or hearts. Pawpads must be shown on the Masterlist art.

Notes:
- Pawpads cannot alter the shape and size of the nub without the Paws mutation.
- Pawpads can be present on Pacas with specific leg modifiers (e.g. Slug Body, Fins, Pincers).

Hollow (Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has holes present on the head or body. These include but are not limited to dents, small craters, bite marks, scars, etc.

Notes:
- Holes cannot go through the entire head or body, as this would require either Object Head or Object Body.
- Any holes placed on/through the feelers (Head Feelers, Cheek Nubs, Tail Feelers) will not be classified as Hollow but as part of the particular feeler.
- Too many holes present on the design will require the Sponge Texture instead.

Bioluminescence (Rare)

Category: Extra Traits

Parts of the Pacapillar/Snekket are glowing. Those parts can either be always glowing or are only glowing in the dark. This can be applied to any part of the body including but not limited to eyes, feelers, markings, Aura/Halos or any other body parts. If Bioluminescence is not shown on the Masterlist, a description is necessary.

Notes:
- The entire Pacapillar/Snekket cannot be made bioluminescent, as this would require Overlay.

Extrusions (Rare)

Category: Extra Traits
The Pacapillar/Snekket has extrusions present on the head or body. These extrusions are not accessories and cannot be removed. They have no limit in their style or appearance. Extrusions can include but are not limited to small plants, shapes, bumps, frills, etc.

Notes:
- Any Extrusion placed on the feelers (Head Feelers, Cheek Nubs, Tail Feelers) will not be classified as Extrusion but as part of the particular feeler.
- Excessive or highly detailed plant or mushroom growth will require the Plant Texture instead.
- If the Extrusion is too long, it will be classified as Ribbons instead.
- Extrusions do not need the Mismatching trait.
