Hello everyone, and welcome to our monthly newsletter! It's Mermay, will you be drawing any Gilled Pacas this month? We have some fun things both here and on the horizon that we can’t wait to share with you all!

Major Updates

New Snekket Mutation

Introducing a new Snekket-exclusive ultra mutation, Lochness! This new trait replaces either one or both sets of a Snekket's legs with fins, but sizing must still adhere to our standard Snekket leg sizes (see guide HERE). This mutation can be applied to a Snekket MYO or existing Snekket with either a Fintastic Flakes or a Ripe Olera Berry.

Snekket Ultra Mutations

Along with the release of Lochness, Snekkets will now be allowed to use two of our other ultra mutations; Multi-Texture+ and Chameleon (Ultra). These traits will work the same on Snekkets as they do on Pacapillars, and will appropriately require either a Text-Based Adventure, Chaimeleon Tea, or a Ripe Olera Berry. Please keep in mind that these are currently the only ultra mutations available to Snekkets, and the others not listed in this newsletter do not apply to this update.

Minor Updates

Game Nights!

ChaoChild 's Discord game night will take place on May 10th for a standard game night, and May 24th for a game of Frankenpaca! There will be reminders posted in the server when they're getting things ready and when the game is live! Be sure to keep an eye out to have some fun with what they have planned!

If you haven't yet, and you would like to participate in game nights, you can pick up the ping role for game nights in our #directory channel in the server!

Discord Server

Updates to u-can-draw-my-pacapillar

Our u-can-draw-my-pacapillar channel in our Discord server has recently been cleaned out and now things are returning to how they used to be in which users simply post up to 3 links in the channel stating that their characters are open for gift art / writing, and people can repost after a few days once the bot has deleted their previous post. We know however people still wish to directly ask others for characters they can include in their pieces, so to remedy this, we have introduced a new buddy channel; can-i-draw-ur-pacapillar . In this new channel, users may create threads asking for characters to include in their pieces they are working on / planning out. Threads in this new channel will be closed by staff after roughly one month to keep things tidy.

Frankenpaca Color-to-Enter

Last month's Frankenpaca color-to-enter ends tomorrow, so be sure to get your entries in for your chance to win! You can enter the color-to-adopt HERE !

L.E.A.F is back for another tour around Chrysalopolis, and they are bringing new merch with them! Gather your friends and get your novelty trinkets out for a night of fun attending one of their concerts! Rumor has it that Hero will also be opening a gift shop where he will be selling last years merch for leaflets, so keep an eye out fot that!

Hampter

Hampter loves running around, eating sunflower seeds, rolling in dirt or in a hamster ball and hiding food around the place!

He normally like to farm and grow sunflowers, potatoes, and carrots, sometimes you can find him sleeping in a fields of sunflowers.

Wyrmi (Prism)

Bearing a similar resemblance to a Drach, Wyrmis are frequently mistaken for their rarer counterpart, but they are far more friendly and willing to live with multiple owners. The Prism Wyrmi is a popular choice both to those seeking a Wyrmi, and those mistaking one for a Drach for their shimmering iridescent scales, making them perfect for anyone with a love for sparkly things!

Critter Spotlight

Sharp

This fishy little friend has a strange penchant for rounding up inanimate objects it finds, and using them as playmates! Once found in large packs, the Sharp has been slowly dwindling in numbers as a now almost-extinct species of pet. A Pacapillar initiative has formed recently to introduce other species such as the Narseal to Sharp’s to try and get them to socialize again, but it’s not such an easy task to look friendly with teeth like those!
