It's the seasonal sprouting of the tree of souls!

Chrysalopolis has had a pretty hot and dry Summer this year, which has resulted in a pretty rough drought. This would typically just be a mild inconvenience due to how much moisture is in the air, surrounding the cluster in which the floating city is built upon, only this year, it seems as though the Tree of Souls is struggling to have proper nutrients from rain water, and being an enormous tree that can be viewed from the opposite side of Chrysalopolis, it needs a lot of water to properly help the tree grow.

Due to the dry weather, the Tree of Souls has been trying to absorb water from the oceans of the nearby Gilled Domain. These factors together have resulted in the Tree of Souls blooming less candy berries this year, however, some of these berries have taken on the salts from the sea, giving them a rough, crystal-covered surface, resembling sugar coating. Each one of this year's berries also appear to be quite tart in flavor.

Though some Pacpaillars have raised concerns about how the drought has affected the beloved monumental tree, especially monsters and poisons who are around the tree on a daily basis, most of the population heading to the forest for the annual Soulbloom Feast festival see no issue with these strange sour berries, instead taking to calling the temperamental phenomenon 'Sour Candy Season', making light of the situation as to have their fun at the festival without any worries on their minds.

Making new friends is always fun!

Whether you’re new to Chrysalopolis, or have been here for years, it never hurts to try your nub at meeting new Pacas! Hero is always willing to make new friends, trying to befriend anyone he hasn’t already. Even if he’s just another civilian, he’s a staple for the city, seemingly knowing everyone in Chrysalopolis, somehow, even Pacas in the Gilled Domain and Forbidden Forest… Once you meet him, it’s very clear however why this is the case; he’s very charismatic and fun to be around! Even the most introverted of Pacapillars enjoy spending time with the playful and selfless Paca.

Depict your Pacapillar or Snekket meeting Hero! Are they dragged along to help save a Cake Pop from a tree together, or perhaps they’re playing pirates near the coast of the Gilled Domain with some cool sticks they found? Maybe they’re playing tag and getting as many Pacapillars nearby as they possibly can to play with them, making it an even more fun game!

It's fun to dress up for Soulbloom Feast, but don't forget to dress your house up too!

Having a great costime is fun during Soulbloom Feast, but to truly be the prettiest peacock on the block, you need to go all out on decorating your home! Is your pacapillar trying to carve the best pumpkin for a contest, or did they blow their entire savings on expensive decorations?

Trick or Treat!

It's time to get mischievous! Though many pacapillars prefer to go door to door in hopes of getting sweet treats to munch on through November, some still like to be troublemakers and prank anyone they can! Is your pacapillar hoping for tricks or treats this year? Maybe they got a king size chocolate bar and brag to all their friends, or maybe they got a rock and decide to T-P the poor soul's house?

There's a cold breeze drifting through the air... Better bust out your sweaters!

As the leaves change for the season painting the land in many different colors, the winter temperatures are following quickly behind making it difficult to enjoy the colorful scenery. To enjoy autumn to its fullest, you'll have to do some extra steps to keep warm! How does your pacapillar keep warm as the seasons change? Are they knitting a blanket for their friend? Perhaps they're having a movie night indoors with friends? Maybe they just purchased a new jacket and called it a day!

The moon is out and the tree is glowing... Perfect atmosphere for some scary storytelling!

Darkness creeps in, eveloping the forest in shadow, the fair only being illuminated by the glowing of the creepy old tree and the moonlight above. The late night pacas and snekkets start gathering around a campfire, and are passing around a bag of candies to take turns telling scary stories. Does your character cower at all the creepy tales, or is it their turn to give everyone the chills? Maybe they're being mischievous and sneaking up behind unsuspecting guests!

Summer is gone and ThE CRISP AIR OF AUTUMN IS HERE!

As the days start to get shorter and the nights longer, it's obvious the hot days of Summer are coming to an end. With the first frosts setting in, the plants all around are turning various colors of red, orange, yellow, and brown, and the leaves are falling from their trees. It's officially spooky season, so that means it's time to dress up for this year's Soulbloom Feast festivities! Whether you made your costume by hand and walk around Chrysalopolis to show it off, or bought something cheap from the discount bin at Sachet's Pillow Fort and just stay at home to hand out treats to trick-or-treaters, the Soulbloom Feast is the perfect time to dress up!
