Many pacas already have great bonds with their snekket, but there's always room to grow closer!

Ah paca's best friend. What could be better than a long noodle to cuddle with? Pacas and snekkets count on one another for companionship, so draw them bonding together at the festival! Have they been together for years and just want to play dress up over some tea, or are they just starting to get to know one another in a haunted house attraction?

Get out your glitter and tissue paper, it's crafting time!

Sometimes it's good to just let loose and pour an entire bottle of paint on something, or stick googly eyes to your creation to make them more fun. Make a physical craft of a Pacapillar or Snekket!

Though not always needed, sometimes accidents happen, and a Pacapillar gets poofed. When that happens, you need to have a Chrysalis Shard or Snekket nearby to leap into action!

Sometimes the world gets a little too tough for a Pacapillar's physical form, and taking too much damage can cause them to poof, leaving their core in their place. When this happens, a Pacapillar needs an external magical source to allow them to reform their physical bodies. These external magical sources are limited to Chrysalis Shards, or a Snekket's magical breath. Due to the rarity of Chrysalis Shards in the world, limited to randomly sprouting from the ground, pieces shedding from the sky anchors, or growing off of a Winged Pacapillar's body, many Chrysalopolis residents have taken to raising Snekkets in case of emergency, and with the influx of Snekkets hatching due to Eggs Giving, there are plenty enough noodles to go around for everyone!

If a Pacapillar's core lies dormant for too long without being revived, it is susceptible to being infected by a Hollo, potentially spreading the zombie-like disease to all of Chrysalopolis if it's not caught early. Every subspecies is affected differently for poofing as well.

• Winged Pacapillars have strong enough magic that they can stay dormant for an unlimited amount of time without risking attracting a Hollo. (If the core is cracked or shattered, however, that's a different story.)
• Monster Pacapillars cannot be poofed. Due to not being magical beings like other Pacapillars, their bodies are made up of flesh and tissues, their exposed core serving as a point of weakness to them. An attack to their core is directly compared to attacking a non-magical being's heart.
  • FUN FACT! Monster Pacapillars may collect "dead" or shattered cores due to their physical body being immune to Hollo infection, but this can be seen as fairly grim to other Pacapillars, holding a similar effect of collecting bones or skulls of their people.
• Shelled Pacapillars have an additional line of defense, able to hide in their shell for protection, but otherwise they need to be revived similarly to Standard Pacapillars, Gilled Pacapillars, or Poison Pacapillars.
• Standard, Poison, and Gilled Pacapillars all need to be treated similarly, being revived before their glow fully fades, or else if they become a "dead" core, in which all the light fades and make the core seem brittle, susceptible to a Hollo taking it over.

To celebrate this year's Mirage Festival theme of Snekket's Breath, Pacapillar and Snekket performance duos have taken this opportunity to show off their skills with Snekket's breath (and other types of fire)

Though Snekket's breath is generally a tool to help save a Pacapillar's life, some Pacapillars have taken to using this life-saving magic to put on dazzling shows for others to enjoy. With the large variance in how a Snekket's magic breath can appear, you will never see two performers with identical shows, but all of them will accept Leaflet donations the same when you express your amusement with their show~ What kind of buskers performance is your Pacapillar attending? Are they watching a fire dancer add some flare to their show with their Snekket's rainbow fire-like breath, or are they the main attraction performing for hundreds of Chrysalopolis residents while their Snekket's cloudy breath adds some sparkle?

Making new friends is always fun!

Whether you’re new to Chrysalopolis, or have been here for years, it never hurts to try your nub at meeting new Pacas! Hero is always willing to make new friends, trying to befriend anyone he hasn’t already. Even if he’s just another civilian, he’s a staple for the city, seemingly knowing everyone in Chrysalopolis, somehow, even Pacas in the Gilled Domain and Forbidden Forest… Once you meet him, it’s very clear however why this is the case; he’s very charismatic and fun to be around! Even the most introverted of Pacapillars enjoy spending time with the playful and selfless Paca.

Depict your Pacapillar or Snekket meeting Hero! Are they dragged along to help save a Cake Pop from a tree together, or perhaps they’re playing pirates near the coast of the Gilled Domain with some cool sticks they found? Maybe they’re playing tag and getting as many Pacapillars nearby as they possibly can to play with them, making it an even more fun game!

The nights are nice and warm, perfect time for a party!

Just like day time in the Summer, night time in this season is full of life also! How does your pacapillar or snekket embrace these warm nights? Do they gather with all their friends for a bonfire party? Maybe they're out catching fireflies! Or perhaps they simply are just sleeping comfortably without any heavy blankets.
