The character of the month for February is... Kakiage!

Character Blurb:

Kakiage is the proud owner of Spudz Diner! He's friendly, excitable and hard working, specializing in delivering delicious treats to various Snekkets and Pacas who order from his humble establishment! He does his best to stay busy, but you can rarely catch him dozed off under a tree after exhausting himself from all his work.

It feels like summer was just yesterday, but it's already starting to snow!

While you're helping others with their harvests, you notice some snowflakes begin to fall from the sky. You can see your breath, but there's still work to be done! Depict how your pacapillar or snekket reacts to the cold weather creeping in. Do they continue to help with the end of season work, or do they leave everything to everyone else to go home and have some hot cocoa?

Winter is the perfect time for a warm drink or two! What kind of winter drinks does your pacapillar like? Do they make it themselves or make a daily trip to the cafe?

Chrysalopolis is full of fun creatures to befriend, and sometimes they just come home with you too!

Pets are a Pacapillar's best friend, many of which collecting the various critters for companionship. How did your Pacapillar meet their pet? Did they adopt them at a charity adoption event? Maybe their family has raised the pet species that for decades! Or perhaps you just found the little rascal rummaging through your trash bins.

Regardless of the circumstances, the bond you share with your pet is a special one, and how you meet should always be cherished.

If you’re lost or injured, a Deerest may bravely approach you and lead you to safety…

Extended Description:
Though Snekkets prefer to care for their eggs on their own, later entrusting them to Pacapillars they deem worthy, they can’t always do it alone. When Snekkets need help, they will seek out a Deerest to bring them to come and guard their eggs, keeping them safe when a Snekket cannot directly look after their egg. Deerest are fairly brave, despite their dainty appearance, and will even adopt orphaned Snekket eggs, even if those eggs aren’t actually orphaned and being raised by a Pacapillar, which can result in some Pacapillars having a standoffish Deerest guarding the egg of their future companion…

Extended Description:
It’s unclear whether a Valentine’s Pawtion is filled with a magical essence that will make someone fall in love with you, or just some strawberry milk, but even without drinking the creature’s contents, it’s easy to fall in love with this affectionate little guy! Valentine’s Pawtions are extremely clingy and hate to be apart from their owner, so if you decide to take one in, make sure that you can take it everywhere with you, otherwise you’ll have a sad little pet on your nubs!

Cores are forming, but oh no! The snekkets watching over them are overwhelmed and some have gone missing!

When a pair of pacapillars has a core, snekkets guard them safely until they form into a new pacapillar, but there has been too many cores forming, and the snekkets can't keep on top of it all! Lost cores are being found anywhere from gardens to coral reefs, can you help the snekkets get them all back? Depict a pacapillar or snekket looking for or finding a core!

Brr it's cold out... Time to show off your holiday style!

Even though the weather is cold, luckily Boreal Wishes fashion is designed to both keep pacas warm and looking good. How does your pacpaillar or snekket dress up for the holiday season? Do they have a sweater that fits them perfectly that their best friend made for them, or maybe they got an ugly scarf from a thrift store that is the warmest scarf they've ever had?

No matter what kind, eveyone loves cookies of some sort!

All across Chrysalopolis, cookies are a staple in Boreal Wishes celebrations, and often handed out with gifts, sold at events, and just simply enjoyed in one's own home. Depict your pacapillar or snekket baking or enjoying cookies. Alternatively, you can turn your pacapillar or snekket into a cookie too!

Corewarming is all about friendship. How do you show your friends you care?

Whether it's your friends, partner, pets, or family, everyone has someone they care about! This Corewarming, why not make some cards for those your paca or snekket holds dear to them. Depict your pacapillar or snekket making or handing out Corewarming cards!

Winter is a very cold time, so pacas and snekkets all over are doing their best to stay cozy during these freezing months.

Depict your pacapillar or snekket trying to be nice and toasty. Are they enjoying some hot chocolate with their friends, or are they making a nest of blankets and jackets in front of the fireplace?

Winter is truly here. Your paca or snekket wakes up to find the world covered in a sparkling blanket of snow! It’s so cold… but so pretty at the same time.

Depict your pacapillar or snekket reacting to a heavy snowfall. Are they just waking up and eager for it to all melt away in the spring, or are they out buried up to their neck to play in it?

Northern Lights are truly a sight to behold, and can really make someone feel a sense of calm on winter nights.

Depict your pacapillar or snekket watching the northern borealis dance across the sky. Do they fall asleep from the peace they feel, or are they trying to figure out how this beautiful anomalie works?

Corewarming is approaching! Who does your paca want to show their appreciation to?

Love is in the air, so it's the perfect time to express to those you care about how much you love them! Depict your Pacapillar or Snekket showing how they care about their friends, family, partners, or pets! Do they meet up, or talk over the phone? Where do they go, what do they do? Do they exchange gifts?

Snekkets are known for finding and collecting things, and in winter, they deliver food and gifts from one paca to another!
