Seasonal Reset

Wow, another reset? Time really flies! As always, the seasonal prompts will change from Summer to Autumn at the end of September 20th, 11:59 pm CST, coming along with the change of the seasonal Mutation+ items. The fall items include the  Endless Taffy, the  Pull-Apart Tart and the  XL Fries! (That being said...... which item in the Pacaworld looks the most delicious to you? Indeed an important question that needs to be answered, let me know in the comments :3c)

NPC Lore: Darling

Darling was born and raised in a busy, fast-paced city, constantly surrounded by loud noises and crowded places. She realized early on that the hectic modern lifestyle was not really for her. Since she has always had a deep love for animals, it did not take her long before she started her own "little" animal farm. Next to her animals, Darling has also started gardening and farming her own crops. Even though he enjoys her peaceful life, she can also get a little cheeky occasionally..

What does Darling think about L.E.A.F? Why do the plants on her body wilt every now and then? And what's about "Darry"?

Coding Updates

1 - Attaching Pets

Have you attached your pets to your Pacas yet? This feature has now gotten a little update! After selecting a Pet and the option 'Attach Pet To Character', all your characters will be listed with their Masterlist numbers as well as their names, making it easier to find the correct character in your list. It is also now possible to search for the name of your character, which makes the pet attaching very easy to use since it is also working on mobile devices! 

2 - Collapsable Pet and Item Categories

The different categories in your regular inventory and pet inventory are now collapsable, making it easier to look through pets/items further down the list if you own a lot of pets (couldn't be me, right?) or items. All you have to do is click or tap on the 'Show' text next to the respective category!

3 - Random Character Feature

You want to draw or write about a Pacapillar or Snekket but can't decide which one to pick? Fret no more! Alongside the other features mentioned earlier, our coder CandiedFruit has implemented a new random character feature. Head to the Masterlist drop-down at the top of the page where you can find the "Random Characters" category.
This feature will roll 4 random characters that have at the very least either the "open for art" or "open for writing" status set to "ask first" (yellow status) but will of course also show any characters set to "open for art/writing" (green status). It will not show any characters that are fully set to not being open for any gift art nor writing. You want your characters to have the chance to randomly show up? To set the art or writing status of your character, you have to head to their Masterlist profile and then 'Edit Profile' (found somewhere in the left menu). There you will find the settings for their art and writing status! (Wow I am so evil, this is another goodie, just tell me about what drink would go really well (in your opinion) with the other question I have asked in this Newsletter to receive another 2 berries!)

Game Nights!

ChaoChild 's Discord game night will take a break this month for the standard game night, but maarblecakes will host a game of Frankenpaca on September 12th at 6:00 pm EST! There will be reminders posted in the server when they're getting things ready and when the game is live! Be sure to keep an eye out to have some fun with what they have planned!

Flash Prompts

September is a little pause month, a break after the busy summertime and before the eventful Autumn/Winter seasons starts! As a fun sideactivity we have prepared 2 Flash Prompts for you, which can be found in the Flash Prompt category! The "Palette Challenge" lets you experiment with an Autumn-themed color palette, and the "Pet Shaming" prompt allows you to legally bully your pets (joke). The Pet Shaming prompt can be completed 3 times in total, allowing you to gather some extra  Shhrooms, too. Have fun with these little extra prompts and be prepared for the upcoming Soulbloom event that is being worked on in the background! :3c

Hydra Update

Snekkets are allowed to have multiple heads with the Hydra mutation for a while now, however, we have decide to change the required amount of items needed to achieve 2 extra heads for your noodle. From now on, you will only need one (1) TV Juice OR Ripe Olera to add one OR two additional heads to your Snekket. So far you would have needed a total of 2 items to add 2 additional heads, but now you only need 1 item and are free to choose between the two options. Please remember that a Snekket can still only have a maximum of 3 heads in total, but this should make it easier to obtain the Hydra that you would like to get! The Paca version of this trait (Object Head) is not affected from this change, however, so you will still need 2 items to achieve 2 extra heads!
