It's been a while since we have featured some Guest Artist adopts. We have noticed that the community needed a break from the constant design output, but we hope you are ready to see some new Guest Artist adopts anytime soon again! We would love to feature some GAs for the Soulbloom Feast (October) event. If you have not submitted your Guest Artist application, now is your time to do so! Please note, that we may or may not do tiny changes to the Guest Artist rules but if so, we will be sure to let you know in another upcoming Newsletter!(You can find the application form further down in the Newsletter!)
Nokkelborth is celebrating her borth on the 15th of August and hoasting a pet sale for this occasion. You can buy any specific pet you would like for $5 (with the following custom pet exceptions: any Gateau Gatos, Ploofs or Homun) with a maximum of 20 pets in total. If you are interested in taking one or several pets home, you can buy these pets in the #pet-sale Discord channel. The last day to purchase new friends is on the 31st of August!
Monet is known to be one of the most famous artists in all of Chrysalopolis, their talent is said to be truly exceptional. Owning one of their original works is considered both an honor and a rarity. However, since Monet spends so much of their life exploring distant places, they are incredibly difficult to find. Encountering Monet by chance is considered an incredibly lucky incident..

Claude was born from a particularly gorgeous egg only shortly after Monet has found him. From the very moment he hatched, Claude became deeply attached to Monet and from that day onward the two have been basically inseparable. They are friends and companions for life. That's why Claude knows how deeply Monet misses the Surface..

Sugar is a calm, patient, and sweet Snekket, who loves to soar through the skies and feel the wind on her face. Because of that, it can also go too high and too fast if she gets too excited flying.

One of the sweetest pets to exist, the Round Cookie is loved by all. Unlike other pets, however, Round Cookies can be born by simply baking a batch of cookies with doggy features, and using no more, and no less than 10 chocolate chips in total for the full litter… or batch of cookies. Their chocolate chips can be any chocolate flavor, and you will often see bakers having these pups around as little helpers!
With its little ears and paws floating around its body, completely detached, a Spherical Cookie’s floaty parts can give off the illusion of moons around a planet. These little guys love to go stargazing, but they’ll also sometimes compete with Bowncies to see which of them can roll around the most!

I think my most cherished thing about pacas is hard to pinpoint. One of the biggest thing I've come to love about Pacas and the community though is the friends I've made here. Some have moved on and some I still talk to. No matter what though there's always been people here who I like to talk to and make art with :) It's gotten me really into art again, even with my current art block i find myself only drawing pacas and ponies. I love the whole paca community <3

I love them cause they're just so cute!! I remember when I finally got my first paca Niko five years ago, I couldn't stop drawing him(now I don't draw him at all but he's still loved lol). My favorite part is making more and more of them and building my army. Such a chill community too, I love seeing everyone's art and sharing my own. Paca's have really helped me improve my art and I appreciate it for that too!

I've always wanted to get into pacas back in my DA days, and forgot how much I adore them and their little pillar selves... So nub, so squishy, very friend :] Even if I struggle to draw them sometimes, they remind me of snom and I love snom.... :D

I don't remember what first drew me to pacas, but it was probably something as simple as "lil buggies who are pretty and unique and cool". I didn't even have a type of paca that I liked, I just saved every paca image I could find on pinterest xdd but that was 7 years ago- I still cant believe I'm getting to LIVE pacas, and that I've been living it for TWO YEEAAARS now!! I could've never dreamed it, really (mostly because I didn't understand what a closed species was at the time). I'm happy that after so long of them having been at the back of my mind, that I finally looked into pacas more than I had been and realized I could join in on the fun myself. This is probably the most comfortable server/community I've ever been in, and though I lament a little that maybe I could've arrived at an earlier time, I'm just happy I'm here now. (Also, getting to "meet" the pacas that I had saved in my years old pinterest board in real life is like, CRAZY cool xdd)

I struggle to answer my own questions.. But I hold up my beloved babies like Telio (my firstborn) Softy & Bubu (the beloveds) or obtaining longtime dreamies like Phelios. If it's not obvious, I absolutely love collecting Pacas and pets on top. I love how simple and yet so complex and diverse they can look and that our rules are comparatively simple to other CS with their big boy rules. I have come a long way with Pacas and so many years ago it was a dream to become a mod, but I would have never imagined this to ever happen. But here we are :O It was definitely a wild journey and I am excited what the future brings!
