The party raged on as Gibby traversed through the crowd. The party had been bumpin' since Monty opened the doors in the early evening. The circus always threw great holiday parties. Gibby came out of the crowd and approached the snack table, looking to see if there was anything not full of sugar. Luckily for him, a lone plate of jelly sandwiches was sitting amongst the treats. As he took a few from the tray, he was urged to move out of the way of the voice behind him.
"Pardon me!" Gibby looked down to see the voice belonging to a small blue paca stacked on a small green one. 'Two of three; Reed must be near,' Gibby thought as he watched Blainn grab and fill two of the solo cups with the liquid from the punch sitting in the large bowl center of the table. Said bowl looked like it was half full with different gummy candies. It is far too sweet for the gorilla-looking paca's personal taste. After Blainn filled the cups, he carefully passed them down to Grover, who took them and set them to the side so Blain could hop down from their stack.
"Later, Gibby!" Blain yelled up at him as he waved. Picking up both cups and with that, the two entered back into the crowd, where Gibby could see Reed standing with Skye. 'Glad they're having fun' was all he thought with a grin. Gibby then scarfed down the little sandwiches he picked up and entered back into the mass to continue to dance the party away.
------
The sun shined through the small window of Gibbys shared home. He stood in the kitchen and filled a small glass with water from the sink. He had been up for a while as the ape was an early riser, even with last night's party. After filling the glass, he turned back to the living room to the paca pile in the middle of it. The big lump of green on the floor in front of the couch groaned. Gibby had a soft smile as he took the fresh water over to Skye, who had been lying there all morning with his little friends.
Grover, the green paca of the split, lay next to his head to comfort the larger paca, pressing his head to Skyes. The blue split member, Blainn, sat at his side, leaning against him and looking a bit concerned for his sugar-crashed friend. Reed, the finale member, also sat close, keeping a watchful eye on poor Skye. Gibby was happy that his brother had made such good friends with the split.
As the gorilla paca approached his brother, he set the water on the floor nearby and began to rub at his back with his big paw. "Overdo it last night?" Gibby asked him, only getting a groan in return from the paca.
"I told him to go easy on the punch," Reed stated very matter-of-factly, getting a little whine from Blainn, who seemed to feel a little worse at the comment.
"I didn't think he'd keep taking them from me. I would've stopped if he said no!" The blue paca nuzzled Skye a bit as a little apology for feeding him all that sugar.
"Well, at least you'll know your limit for next time," Grover added, his comment only getting another whined groan from the raven-haired paca, who did nuzzle Grover a little. Gibby could only smile at the interaction, continuing to rub at his back as Rangers helped to comfort him and his poor stomach ache.
'He'll feel better tomorrow at least,' was all Gibby thought before deciding to get Sky up to have some water, even if the paca fought him on it a bit. He knows he'll be caring for him all day at this point, but at least he has three little helpers this time.
