Binani was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. Tonight was the night she would finally get to see her favorite boy band, L.E.A.F, live while they were on tour. As she rifled through her small closet, her available shirts sliding off hangers and falling to the bottom of the closet, her excitement was evident on her face. Her face lit up as she finally found the t-shirt she had pre-ordered when they announced that they were going on tour and would be in her area in Chrysoloposil. Meanwhile, her brother, Citron, leaned against her doorframe, watching the chaos with amusement. "Excited much?" he asked with a light chuckle.
Binani whipped her head to the sound of her older brother's voice. She beamed at him, “Well, duh! I’m finally going to get to the L.E.A.F group in real life! You’re still going to get pictures, right?!” She was greeted with a rolling of his eyes, though, the smile was still on his face.
“I made a promise, didn’t I?” He walked over to her as she slipped her black shirt with the word ‘LEAF’ printed five times over each other with the text being in a new color each time; pink, red, green, blue, and purple. He straightened it out with his nubs and stepped back. “There. Ready to go? Jojo said he would walk with us, but Primrose said she would meet us at the building.”
“Yeah, let’s go!” Binani said excitedly and ran as quickly as she could out of her room. Well- more of scrambling with how quickly she was attempting to move her short nubs. Citron did not move with the same excitement as she did, but he was still happy to see how excited she was for this concert.
The two emerged from their burrow. As they felt the sun's rays dancing along their bodies the two of them saw JoJo quickly approaching- a wide grin that looked similar to Binani’s plastered on his face.
“Oh my nub, you got the pre-ordered shirt?!” JoJo asked when he laid eyes on it. Binani did a pose with it on.
“Doesn’t it look so good?” Binani asked before moving back to her typical standing pose. “I thought you pre-ordered it, too?”
“I did! I haven’t put it on yet- I didn’t want to get it dirty before we got there,” JoJo explained and patted his bag on his side.
“That’s fair! I was just too excited,” Binani replied as they began walking towards the heart of Chrysalopolis. That’s where the band L.E.A.F had decided to set up this time.
As the group of three began to get closer to the building Binani let out a gasp at how many pacapillars were gathered outside. She scanned her eyes over the crowd and finally spotted her dear friend, Primrose. She ushered her brother and JoJo into the crowd and towards her friend.
“Primrose!” Binani called once they got close enough.
The blue dog-based pacapillar turned to greet her friend with a smile, “Hey! Glad you made it! I got your and JoJo’s spot reserved. Close to the front bar, I think.”
“You’re the best!” Binani squealed and flung herself closer and pulled Primrose into a hug. “You’re sure you still don’t want to come see the concert?”
“No, like I said before, L.E.A.F isn’t exactly my thing. I’m happy to just be here with you,” she said with a smile as she pulled away from the hug.
Binani returned the smile and turned back to JoJo and her brother. She ushered JoJo over and pulled Primrose into a side hug and did the same with JoJo as he got close enough.
“Get a picture!” Binani told Citron. He gave a small look.
“A picture already?” He mused.
Binani nodded and gestured behind them, “Be sure to get the L.E.A.F sign behind us in the picture!”
Citron chuckled and moved to get a proper picture of the three. He positioned the camera to get all three pacapillars in front of him in frame and made sure the sign was visible behind and above their head. He snapped the picture and Binani wasted no time to run over and check the picture that was just taken. She grinned, “Oh these turned out so well! I’ll be sure to print you guys a copy!”
Before they had a chance to reply to doors to the building had opened and Binani was now shoving everyone in her group to the double doors that were being crowded by other pacapillars.
Binani refused to admit that she was sobbing before the band of colorful pacapillars ever even showed up on the stage despite how much JoJo was teasing her about it, but JoJo sobbed once they got there. They mutually agreed to keep it between themselves.
