Seam happily hopped around his room, tail enthusiastically wagging. He couldn’t believe it! He had managed to get a ticket to a L.E.A.F. Concert! He had heard they were expensive when they went on sale but to his surprise, it wasn’t that much. Or at least, it didn’t seem like it was that expensive at first but then again he managed to get one on reserve so…
“Now, how do I actually prepare for a concert?” Seam wondered, frowning as he laid his head on the desk in front of him. Sure he had gotten a ticket but he didn’t think to research how to get ready for one. Seam hummed to himself, “I’m obviously going to need to have my ticket ready when I get there…” He says, tilting his head from side to side. “But what else do I need?” He wonders, rubbing his chin.
After minutes of thinking Seam’s eyes lit up. “Glow sticks!” He exclaimed, holding up his nub. “Wati, do I have glow sticks?” He wondered, walking around his house and humming. “Maybe they’ll have glow sticks there?” He thought, then realized he had forgotten to check his bedroom.
Heading into this room Seam noticed that there was a bag sitting in the corner and looking inside of it, “My merchandise!” He exclaimed, hopping from side to side. “How could I forget these?!” He says, shaking his head as he rummages inside of it and takes out a printed shirt, and hat, along with a little flag. “Maybe I can get them to sign my shirt! Or maybe my hat…” He contemplated. “Maybe the hat would be better.” He agreed, placing everything in a leather bag that was hanging on his door.
After making sure he had everything, Seam grabbed his ticker off the table and carefully slipped it into his bag. “Okay, I think I have everything.” He says. Glancing up at the clock on the wall, Seam’s eyes widened. “Oh no, I hope I can make it in time.” He says, rushing out the door.
Reaching the concert venue, Seam noticed that there was a very long line circling around the corner of the venue. He frowned deeply then sighed, looking up at the sky, “At least there’s still some daylight.” He says to himself.
All around him were multiple other Pacas who seemed to be just as excited as he was about the concert, along with a few food trucks parked off to the side. Looking between the line and the food trucks, Seam wondered if he should try to grab some food first or immediately move towards the line. “Maybe there’ll be food during the concert?” He wondered, deciding that getting in line would be the best option.
The wait in line was almost unbearable. The closer Seam got to the front of the line, the more excited he became. He could already hear the crowd as well as the opening acts. Everyone sounded so energetic and hyper, and he had to admit whoever was singing right now sounded pretty good.
“Ticket please.” The ticket-taker says, holding out their nub.
“Oh, right!” Seam said, digging into his bag and handing the ticket over.
The ticket-paca took it and looked it over a few times before digging into their bag and placing a bracelet around Seam’s nub. “There you go. Keep that on while you’re attending the concert and don’t forget your glow ring.” They said, holding out a glowing ring.
“Thank you!” Seam says, taking the ring and slipping it onto his tail before making his way into the open air arena, carefully making his way through the crowd to find any empty seats that were close enough to the stage but not too close to the front.
As Seam was getting settled in while the band was getting everything set up, he noticed a Pacapillar carrying a large white box full of snacks around their neck and made his way over, grabbing some leaves and berries along with some berry juice and leaving a tip. “Thank goodness there’s a snack vendor!” He said to himself, stuffed some of the food into his mouth as the lights began to dim and the crowd grew quiet.
“And now for the band you’ve all been waiting for, I’d like you all to put your nubs and paws together for… L.E.A.F.!” An announcer-paca exclaimed as the crowd began to clap, cheer, and stomp the ground, their feelers already starting to wiggle and wave.
Seam gasped and cheered along with the crowd, stomping his feet and clapping, while waving his feelers and the little flag he brought with him, hopping from side to side excitedly.
