Summary
A mage who has lived for many years, Roco is a sorcerous pacapillar with a very strong knowledge in magic. He is very talented in various forms of magic, but his strength mostly relies on the power of ice. Despite his age, he still has the looks and personality of an adult.
Personality
Though Roco fulfills his job as a guardian and is well-respected by many, he’s the odd one of all the other winged pacas, solely because he’s spent a majority of his life researching the power of magic in this world, therefore he’s rarely seen unless under certain situations. He’s lax, but he’s also rather fixated to his own studies, to the point where he cannot seem to focus on one thing not involving magic. At times, he’s also a bit carefree about whatever’s going on in the world, though most of that is due to how long he has spent his life in hiding.
As with fellow members of his kind, he only uses his magic for self-defense, but when he senses another pacapillar in danger, he jumps in to save them.
Background
Many years ago, Roco was just an ordinary pacapillar who lives in a small town. He always dreamt of becoming a mage, though without proper training, he realized that this would only result in damage to his body. Therefore, when he went through months of training, he partook in a trial that would change his life forever; there was a time when he walked into a mystical cave, when suddenly he was attacked by a large spider. Knowing that he wasn’t strong enough to withstand it, until he heard a voice calling out to him, and telling him not to give up. This led to him showing his true powers and becoming a winged pacapillar, having succeeded in slaying the spider.
As a result, his body and mind had stopped aging. Upon realizing his new look, he had no choice but to hide from the public eye for many years, just so he could do research on his magic.
Design Notes
- I heavily prefer drawing him with clothes on! While he can be drawn without them, he won't stand out very well.
- The hat is optional, so you don't need to draw it.
- His cravat can be removed from his outfit, but you cannot add it if he's not wearing the outfit.
- He's inspired by Fire Emblem mages, so please use tomes if you're going to portray him using magic.
- The star floating above his head as well as the halo are required. It's part of him. However, it's absent in his "standard" form.
- Roco looks a bit small in his ref, but try to make him look large.
- Roco can switch between his base form and standard form. Aside from his size, the lack of wings, and the aforementioned missing star and halo, he looks the exact same as he was in his base form.
- Roco only has the constellation-like marking on the left side of his tail.
