As the early morning sunshine peeks in through the window, Monet giggles gazing upon their masterpiece.
She sets down her brush and hmph's in triumph.

You see, today is a very special day and Monet has been working on quiet the colorful surprise.
Monet quickly and quietly scurries off to the farm lands, just in time to set up her "prank" of the season.

Over at the farmhouse, a diligent worker has just awoken.
Daisy yawns, her eyes fluttering open as she recalls her dream.. A plot full of colorful veggies dancing under the summer sun.
Yes, she is quite the dreamer and oh, how shy she felt remembering how she had told Monet of her silly little dreams.

Nonetheless she was up and ready to take on the day! She could only hope, Hero hadn't covered the whole town in vines as he did last year, on April Fool's day.
She goes about her normal morning routine, before heading off to the farm.

Upon arriving she notices something quite.. peculiar about the carrot plot.
It seems the carrots have miraculously sprouted in colors of the rainbow!
Her fluffy bon tail wiggles in delight as she gazes in awe at the beautifully colored veggies.

She believes this must simply be a dream come true. Unbeknownst to her, a very happy Monet is hiding nearby.

A soft smile graces Monet's face as she watches a delighted Daisy gather up the colorful bunch and take off towards the town.
No doubt to share her delight with everyone!

As Daisy disappears over the hill, Monet rubs her cheeks. Her eyes widen as she realizes she now has editable paint all over the side of her face. No matter, the deed is done.

"April Fools" Monet whispers to herself.
Indeed a fool she is, since Monet was fool enough to have spent her entire week trying to make editable paint to decorate Daisy's carrot sproutlings all in the name of seeing her smile.

Not all April Fool's need to end up with a laugh and a bad joke. In Monet's regard it was simply a prank to make a magical dream come true.
