The Story:
Love Bytes remembers the first time she met Cosmic, her alien slime. He was so small and hiding when the other slimes were more curious about Love. Love being someone who, while liking the company, didn't like new people, and felt sympathy for the tiny fella. She carefully decided to bring him home. When she got him home, he hid in the hide she put in his enclosure and didn't come out for more than food for a month. Though after a lot of patience from Love, he did start to come out around feeding times, and eventually would even let her hold him without trying to flee. She learned what his favorite treats were, and had started to train him to do tricks. He still refuses to come out when she has guests, but when she's home alone she lets him roam free and he usually chooses somewhere close to her. Often laying on her when he wants to take a nap if she's relaxing. She honestly didn't expect him to ever warm up as much as he did to her.
Cosmic chirps up at Love, reminding her that he was sitting on her chest. "Oh- I'm sorry, did I stop petting you?" She asked with a small laugh, before carefully petting him. "You want a treat, Cosmic? Wanna treat boy?" She asked.
Cosmic spun and started running toward the kitchen.
Love laughed and got up to follow him, "Hey wait up!" When she got into the kitchen, she got out some berries to share with Cosmic. "Alright, snack time~" She cooed at him, and held a berry up for him. he took it eagerly and began eating it.
Love ate a berry slowly, savoring it. Cosmic chirped when he finished his berry before she did. She pet him taking her time with hers, and wanting him to wait before she gave him another. He nuzzled her and looked up with big begging eyes.
"I love you, Cosmic." She said softly, glad to have found such a good friend.
